In 1938, the Henking Company moved great parts of their parachute production from Berlin to Seifhennersdorf. Parachutes like the RZ-1 and the RZ 16 were among that product portfolio.
After several years of interruption, in the mid fifties the development and production of parachutes was commenced again by the BEWES company and was continued by the SPEKON company, founded in June 1990.
Parachutes from Seifhennersdorf are part of the trademark of the region and prove their competitiveness and reliability in many countries worldwide.
